Frequently Asked Questions

What equipment do you use?

To film your wedding we use the most up to date technology.  We have recently invested in the latest Professional Grade Full Frame Sony Cameras to capture your wedding day. We use DJI Drones to capture all of our aerial images for which we are licensed and insured to do so.  We also use the latest computers and Adobe professional software to edit your images.

How many people will be there on the day?

That depends on your package choice or what optional extras you choose. The Silver and Gold package includes just one Photographer whereas the Diamond Package has two of us included. You do have the option of an extra cameraman on either of the Silver or Gold packages which we do highly recommend. It ensures much more of the day is captured.  Just think of us as two extra guests.

Who will be there on the day?

There are 10 fully trained professionals that capture weddings each year as part of the Grace Studies team.  You can find our info on the meet the team page.  With over 1000 weddings under our belts in more than 15 years we are never short on experience.  We have all trained the same way, use the same equipment, which allows us to bring an excellent quality to our images and films.  To be safe, and for your own piece of mind, we always ensure that one of us is free on any of the dates we have weddings booked, just in case of illness or injury.  We are all pretty awesome people too!

Do we need to meet with you?

Not necessarily, but if time allows its always nice to meet first. As long as we are able to discuss what you are hoping for and have an informal chat. We will of course, come to you to discuss things, at no extra cost.

How Long will you stay at the wedding?

Our most popular package includes coverage from bridal preparations until after your first dance. We do however have several set packages available or we can tailor a bespoke package of course to fit your individual needs.

How long after the wedding will it take to see images or film from the day?

Within 2 weeks we aim to get a sneaky peek of a handful of images on our facebook page for you to enjoy and share with family and friends.  We will then get all of the images from the day (usually 500-1000+) to you to review and choose your favourites for further editing or choice of album. We aim to deliver the full set of images within 6 weeks and your film we aim to deliver within 8-10 weeks. Busy times of the year can affect these delivery times slightly but we will keep you informed of any delays should they arise.

Are you insured?

Yes. We are fully insured. We have professional indemnity and public liability insurance. We also have a separate policy covering our aerial drone work.

Are there any rules or regulations?

The only thing we ask is that you check with whoever is taking your service and confirm that photography is allowed, as some venues have certain rules about photography and filming. We take care of all other licenses that are required.  Aerial Photography & Film has its own rules and regulations that need adhering to and our U.A.V. pilot is fully licensed and insured for commercial purposes and has been granted PfCO (Permission for Commercial Operation) by the CAA.

Where in the UK do you cover?

Everywhere. We are based in Bristol in the South West of the UK. However we will film any event for you anywhere in the world. Additional travel costs will be added for those weddings that take place further than 50 miles from where we are based. Those within 50 miles of Bristol will not incur any extra costs.

 Do you travel abroad?

We certainly do and would love the chance to capture your destination wedding.  This will need to be quoted on an individual basis. Please get in touch to find out more.
